This is an Incense Burner that I made for my friend, Christine. As you can see in the first and third pictures, I have made a place to store extra incense sticks.

To the left you can see how everything was put together. The trough down the middle of the larger piece of wood holds the fallen ashes. The smaller piece of wood, with the Heart and Flower design, holds the incense stick and fits into the slot on the larger piece of wood. The below four pictures show the raw (unfinished), and the finished part of the burner that holds the incense stick. Notice that the carving is different on each side.
