Sometimes when I am in between carvings I find a piece of scrap wood and just start carving. I use this time to think over my next project and to take chances with ideas I want to try out on a small scale. This carving I also made into a magnet.

Here is another of those in between carvings. I wanted to play with scales and wings so I just started carving. This is more of a prototype of a carving I hope to do later on.
