This was a fun carving to make. I made it for the little girl of a dear friend of mine. I enjoy making things for people I care about. I like the idea of leaving somthing behind that will be enjoyed by others long after I am gone. I have plans to make two more carvings of this type.

I made this carving for my wife's mother, Susi. I enjoyed making this carving. I decided to add roses along with flowers I usually carve. I look forward to hand delivering this carving to Susi when Maria and I take our vacation in Argentina starting the first week in June.

This "Alberto," carving I made as a gift for my wife's Father, down in Argentina. This is the first carving I've done where there were leaves (tree leaves) and no flowers. It is also the first time I put a pattern (small circles) behind or underneath the leaves, in the space that is neather word or plant. Doing this makes the leaves stick out. If all goes well my father in law should receive my labers May 12th. I look forward to another vacation in that beautiful country and spending time with my extended family. I hope to find the time to do a little carving while I'm there.
