Boxes

Hatch Box

These two pictures I pulled out of my photo archives. I stumbled across the pictures and thought I would share it with all of you. I made this cedar box a number of years ago for a sister missionary from the LDS church. She wanted a box so I made her one. I added a mirror, which I inlaid into the inner lid held in place by a flower and a small heart. I made this so that the mirror could be removed and replaced if necessary by unscrewing the screw in the center of the heart. I made one other box for a sister missionary, but I'm not sure if I ever recorded it with a photo.

Box for Tami

Here is another one of my boxes that I made years ago, this one for another LDS missionary. I don't remember which box came first. This cedar box has no markings on the outside, but under the lid I inlayed an oval mirror, held in place by two stars. I also added decorative design to the corners which helps keep the lid fitting snug. Thank you Tami for taking the pictures and sending them to me.
